# Change how long before a learner needs to reset a course

# How to change the compliance expiry of a course

You can change how long a course, once completed, lasts before a learner needs to resit it, or its compliance expires. To do so, follow the instructions below: 

1. Go to the **Courses** tab where you can see the list of all the courses your Organisation has access to.

2. Click the **pencil 🖉** icon on the right side of the course that you wish to edit the compliance period for.

3. It will take you to a new window where you can set the number of months the Learners would be compliant for after completing the course.

4. Just type in the number or use **the arrows** to set the compliance period and then **click “Save”**.
