# How to increase quiz attempts for a Learner

|| **This article applies to ADMINISTRATORS.**  
### You can only change the number of quiz attempts for the whole course and can no longer change it for a single learner.

If you do not want to change the quiz attempt setup of a course; but would like for a learner to retake the quiz, you need to reset the whole course for the learner.

1. To do this, go to the learner's account under the **"Users"** menu.

2. Once you are on the learner's profile, look for the **blocked** in the list of available courses of the learner and click on the ** three dots **. Just select the **"Reset Course"** option and confirm to process it.
