# My course won't load

### What to do if you're having problems loading a course

| We highly recommend that you download and use the **Qintil App** in accessing your courses.

We suggest these steps if the Qintil App is currently not available for you.

Please use or switch to __Chrome, Firefox or Microsoft Edge__ because our courses work well on these browsers.

###### If you're having problems loading a course using the web or desktop version, try the following steps to try to fix the problem.

## I. Course won't open or the screen is blank

If the course just will not open, or the screen stays blank, check the following first:

1. You're connected to a stable internet connection with good speed
2. You have pop-up blockers disabled in your web browser. Follow the instructions on how to disable pop-up blockers:

* Open your browser.
* At the top right, click **'More'** and then **'Settings'**.

3. Ensure that you are using a modern web browser like Chrome, Firefox or Microsoft Edge

## II. Use Chrome, Firefox or Microsoft Edge

If your course is not loading, please switch to the most modern and up to date web browser.  We recommend using Chrome, Firefox or Microsoft Edge. We know that Internet Explorer doesn't always work well :-(

If you are not using the recommended browsers, below are the instructions on how to download Chrome and Firefox:

###### How to download Chrome

1. [Download the installation file.](https://www.google.com/chrome/)
2. Click **'Download Chrome'**, then click **'Accept and Install'** from the pop-up window. Wait for the file to download, and click the 'Chrome Setup' file, if prompted, click **Run or Save**.
3. If you chose **Save**, double-click the download to start installing.
4. Start Chrome:
* Windows 7: A Chrome window opens once everything is done.
* Windows 8 & 8.1: A welcome dialog appears. Click Next to select your default browser.
* Windows 10: A Chrome window opens after everything is done. You can make Chrome your default browser.

###### How to download Firefox

1. [Download the installation file.](https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/?v=a)
2. Click **'Download now'**, wait for the Firefox Installer to finish downloading and if prompted, click **Run or Save**.
3. Finish the setup and start using Firefox.

## III. Clear your browser's cache

If you've checked all of the above and still have a problem, try clearing the cache on your computer.

There is a guide on how to do this for every web browser here:

[How to clear cache](http://www.refreshyourcache.com/en/home/)

## IV. Use a laptop or computer

Sometimes, the courses do not load well using the web version on phones only. It might work well on iPad or tablets but issues may still occur. We recommend taking the course on laptops or personal computer, if available, in order to minimize the issues in course load.

If a course won't load and you are using a web version on phone, you can clear your history or data or downloading Chrome or Firefox.

## V. If you're still experiencing problems

We're really sorry that you're still having problems!  Please click the chat icon on the bottom of this page
to speak to someone.

Please note that we do not develop or maintain the courses on Qintil, and sometimes we may have to
refer you to the course provider.

Thank you for your patience.
