What to do if you're having problems loading a course

QUICK TIP: Use or switch to Chrome, Firefox or Safari because our courses work well on these browsers.

If you're having problems loading a course, try the following steps to try to fix the problem.

I. Course won't open or the screen is blank

If the course just will not open, or the screen stays blank, check the following first:

You're connected to a stable internet connection with good speed
You have pop-up blockers disabled in your web browser. Follow the instructions on how to disable pop-up blockers:

Open your browser.
At the top right, click 'More' and then 'Settings'.

At the bottom, click 'Advanced', locate 'Privacy and security', and click 'Site settings'.

Click 'Pop-ups and redirects'. At the top, turn the setting to 'Allowed or Blocked'.

Ensure that you are using a modern web browser like Chrome, Firefox or Safari

II. Use Chrome, Firefox or Safari

If your course is not loading, please switch to the most modern and up to date web browser.  We recommend using Chrome, Firefox or Safari. We know that Internet Explorer doesn't always work well

If you are not using the recommended browsers, below are the instructions on how to download Chrome and Firefox:

How to download Chrome

Download the installation file.
Click 'Download Chrome', then click 'Accept and Install' from the pop-up window. Wait for the file to download, and click the 'Chrome Setup' file, if prompted, click Run or Save.

If you chose Save, double-click the download to start installing.
Start Chrome:
Windows 7: A Chrome window opens once everything is done.
Windows 8 & 8.1: A welcome dialog appears. Click Next to select your default browser.
Windows 10: A Chrome window opens after everything is done. You can make Chrome your default browser.

How to download Firefox

Download the installation file.
Click 'Download now', wait for the Firefox Installer to finish downloading and if prompted, click Run or Save.

Finish the setup and start using Firefox.

III. Clear your browser's cache

If you've checked all of the above and still have a problem, try clearing the cache on your computer.

There is a guide on how to do this for every web browser here:

How to clear cache

IV. Use a laptop or computer

Sometimes, the courses do not load well on phones only. It might work well on iPad or tablets but issues may still occur. We recommend taking the course on laptops or personal computer, if available, in order to minimize the issues in course load.

If a course won't load and you are using a phone, you can clear your history or data or downloading Chrome or Firefox.

V. If you're still experiencing problems

We're really sorry that you're still having problems!  Please click the chat icon on the bottom of this page
to speak to someone.

Please note that we do not develop or maintain the courses on Qintil, and sometimes we may have to
