Manually set a course as "Completed" for a Learner

This article applies to ADMINISTRATORS.

Learn how to override the completion of a course and mark it as Complete for a learner.

You can override the completion of a course and mark it as Complete for a learner, just follow the steps below:

  1. Click your Learners tab and locate the learner's name in the user list. Click on the User’s name to open his/her individual profile.

  1. Find the course in the 'Courses' section and click the three dots button and choose Add Exemption

  1. A pop-up tab window will appear, click the Other Evidence - you can then choose the completion date of the course and then click Save.

  1. After adding the exemption, the course will be listed as 'Exempted', because it was done through a manual override but it will appear along with the other completed courses.

Note that this action will not generate a certificate of completion automatically.
