How to pause a learner and exclude them from compliance reports

Sometimes you may wish to pause a learner - when they go on maternity leave or long term sickness for example and cannot complete their learning. To prevent their absence from impacting their compliance, you can Pause the learner.

To do so, go to the Users tab and locate the user's profile.



Click on the Pause User button and confirm in the pop-up box.



The learner is now paused and removed from compliance checks.



To 'Un-Pause' them, simply click on the Unpause user button.



Your user list will show those paused users with a yellow icon next to their name:



You can use the filter option in the Users tab to easily locate the paused users.
